A question to Christians....?

"christianity is the set religion in america"...wow...this amazes me everytime i hear it. Wasn't freedom of religion one of the MAIN reasons we revolted against england? If i recall READING correctly, the vast majority of our fore-fathers(those who built this country) despised all religion and recognized it as a huge downfall of humanity. Yet, somehow, we are still a "christian nation". Just because there are a bunch of christians in america doesnt mean its our set religion. This country was founded on the principles that you can be whatever the hell you want to be...therefore, there is no SET religion, just a bunch of christian nut-jobs who feel they own the place...
