How many method of skyscr constructions are there?

Ok first a spread footing does not have a pole in the ground. A spread footing is a shallow foundation system. You have deep foundations. Which is broken down into driven piles or auger cast piles. Lastly is a mat or raft foundation, this is mostly for light buildings. High rises you will see deep foundations. Do some research on deep foundations and Dr. Das (he is a geotech professor) and Dr. Nilson (concrete design of the foundation). You may want to check out a couple of websites on how to build a structure or A and E. (lastly beams are horizontal and columns are vertical anything at an angle sucks to design because of eccentric loading and the internal stresses in the member.
