Why is the blood curse only mentioned in Matthew? And should it be applied to the Jews of Today.?

The whole thing is completely made up. None of that would have actually happened under Roman law NOR under Jewish law. It's just another of the many, many examples in the new testament of inaccuracy and slander meant to demonize the Jews.
