How did you feel when you got the all clear from cancer?

After my mastectomy 18 mo ago, I had the DNA testing for BRACCA at Dana Farber in Boston. They told me my chances of getting this cancer again was only 1-3%. Yeah, I was so happy and I cried with elation. That was 19 mo ago. Now, I have to have a second mastectomy. Tumors were found on my mastectomy site because I had a stupid surgeon who left tissue that still contained the cancer. It's now in my other . I know this is different from what you are talking about, but I do know how happy I was and how sad I am now. I am so happy for you. God bless you. Thank God I went to see a new Oncologist.

Julian may been seen as too girlish, as well as jaymi. i know a boy named julian, and while he is actually quite popular and good looking, he was teased in primary school for this. Jaymi seems more like a feemale spelling as y is usually ociated with female names. Rylan is beautiful, its not too out there, but it is also unique. Question about Ligers?

I had seen a comment on a video I had watched stating a Liger would easily overwhelm a Lion or a Tiger in a fight due to it's mive size. I thought, however, I had read an article quite a while back and that said a Ligers size is actually a detriment in a fight because it wouldn't be as fast or as aggressive (Because Male Ligers are sterile they have low testosterone and therefore are more docile) than the Lion or Tiger. I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian on moral grounds since I was 11-years-old. This is very very important and huge factor in making up who I am. Somehow, people never seem to understand. They give me funny looks like I'm nuts and MOST of them even say things like "I'm gonna make you the best steak ever" or "Here, want a bite of my hamburger?" except for the very few who comment on just how cool it really is. And I do think it's cool. It was an idea presented to an 11-year-old and something that wound up sticking throughout adolesence, teen years, and young adulthood. It is me! I really just want to know how to help others accept that other people having an opinion or lifestyle other than their own is not only NOT wrong, but right! Hi, i started having what i think it is anxiety attacks in the past 2 months. Now my only concern is that it only comes when i exercise or after . It is something that happens almost everytime i have and exercise. Another concern i have is that my fingertips and toes turn blue and my hands and feet gets very very cold. I also get very dizzy, twitchy and my face turns pale. I went to the doctor and he said so far everything is fine. He ordered a stress test which is soon to be taken, late this week. How do you disconnect drive shaft on RWD truck 95 chevy?

There are two u-joints where you can disconnect the drive-line; one near the transmission and one near the rear-end. either one will work just to get it out of the way. But to remove it completely undo the four bolts on the rear u-joint and pull the drive-line away from the . But be careful if the front of the truck is up in the air or facing up your driveway you will spill most of the fluid. pay attention to where each bolt goes and which way the u-joint came apart and mark the top of the drive-shaft for reinstalation. the drive-shaft is a balanced piece and if you install any of it backwards from the way it came out you could end up blowing u-joints down the road or the drive line could bend and pull away from the transmission causing severe damage to the vehicle.

H1n1 was the cause of death of my mom :( can we sue?

my sister came home sick from school on october of last year the last week to be exact it was a monday anywho we took her to the hospital that same day because we were afraid it might be the h1n1 and the doctor at kaiser only asked some questions about her symptoms and took a look at her throat and said it was the h1n1 i asked him if he wasnt supposed to do some type of culture to determine that and he said no because it was way more possible to be h1n1 ?? so stupid anywho he said to give her tylenol and i asked him if he would give her some type of antibiotic and he said no tylenol was enough and to keep her well hydrated well my mom woke up sick the next day then me the following day my mom got an appointment at the kaiser clinic on thursday her doctor refused to see her because she had too many patients that day so she was seen by the head nurse or something like that and she just listened to her chest and lungs with the stethoscope and said she had wheezing and her chest was very congested she diagnosed her with bronchitis so she gave her a breathing treatment that lasted 20 minutes then she prescribed her ALBUTEROL a breathing treatment and amoxicillin she said "with this she should get better if she gets worse that's not good" , that was it but they made her wear a mask to cover her mouth and nose.On monday she went to the clinic again now with her doctor but when we got there she seemed kinda agitated her doctor took forever to see her when she finally did the doctor touched my mom she told her that she was extremely cold she decided to do an EKG and sent her to the lab to get some blood work done and some Xrays then they told me to take her to another room because i even had her in a wheelchair because she would get agitated the nurse in there cfhecked her blood pressure and saw that it was very low and called my moms doctor so she came down and told me that they would have to call the paramedics because her blood pressure was extremely low they took her to the nearest hospital then supossedly they would trasport her to the kaiser hospital so i called my dad and sister they were the ones who stayed overnight they told me that they even had to put breathing tube down her throat because she couldnt breathe well later like at 10 am tuesday they went home to shower when my dad went back like at 12:00 am they told him that she had gotten worse that her heart had stopped and that they were trying to revive her my dad was in shock they told that they tried their best but nothing could be done . we waited 3 months to know the real cause of her death they called from the coroners office and they said it was the h1n1 that she suffered a septic shock which caused her blood pressure to drop they said the cause was "death caused due to complications of vital pneumonia " now my question is why didnt the when we first took my sister to the hospital give us specific precautions or something i mean thats what they're trained for something big like the h1n1 not only have i thought we should sue but many people have told us the same thing that we should sue Kaiser Permanente for medical negligence or malpractice because why did the nurse say it was bronchitis when it was the h1h1 she had maybe she could've still have been here :/ ....do you think it's possible we might have a strong case? here we dont want money we just want those doctors their es fired and get they're license taken away for their stupid error.

I went for my first ultrasound on Friday last week. They were not able to find a heartbeat. This was with an abdominal sonar. I had my hcg levels checked and they were over 90,000. They scheduled me for another sonor for this morning. Still, no heartbeat. So they tried the l ultrasound. Nothing. They checked my Hcg levels and they had dropped a little, but they were still over 90,000. My doctor says that my odds of continuing the pregnancy is slim and that I would likely miscarry if I had not already. I have not had any cramping or bleeding of any kind and other than the test that they are running on me all the time, I would never know that anything was wrong. Anyone ever had anything like this and not had the pregnancy end in miscarriage? Thank you for your help.

there are a lot of things you need to look out for on a hookah. make sure the foil is on very tight at the top. some people put a rubberband at the bottom to secure and tighten the foil. try using the TIP of a safety pin for the holes and not the WHOLE thing. the point of the hookah is to heat the tobacco not burn it. a lot of holes are not needed. every now and then pick up the charcoal using the tongs and take off all the already burnt charcoal. all the white stuff around it juss weakens down the heat. while your trying to get as much smoke as you can you might be using too much charcoal on the top. make sure you dont have too many pieces and if you need to try to break the charcoal into smaller pieces juss so that you can get juss the right amount. dont forget to watch your water levels in the base. do not fill it up completely with milk. its supposed to have mainly water with as lil bit of the milk. dont forget that if you want thick clouds to inhale very quickly and hard. try not to take light hits to make em last longer that will juss not bring enough heat from the top to light the tobacco.

Macaws!!! Which would be best for me?

I have a yellow collared macaw. one of the smaller minis. She is sweet and a fair talker. Unfortunately, she has gotten progressively louder as she has gotten older. Personally, I recommend a Hahn's Macaw. They are about the sweetest macaws I've ever met. I don't have one, but I never met one that I didn't like, a lot. How can I plan my future if I'm unsure of what career I want?

I'm fifteen (I'll be 16 next week), lately i've been thinking about my future and what career/job I want to have when I'm older. My boyfriend, who is 19 already knows what he wants to do and is working toward it. He's in the national guard and when he gets out they'll pay for him to go to culinary school so he can become a chef. Some of things I'm interested in include: writing,children, psychology and planning. Some of the things I dislike include: math, science and repairing things. In the past, some of the jobs I considered seriously were: librarian, teacher (preschool or elementary), novelist, lawyer, psychologist and journalist. I was planning on going to college even though I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Now, I think what I really want to do when I grow up is be a mommy. I know being a mother is a lot of hard work and I wouldn't want to be one just because babies are cute, but because I think at the end of the day no matter how tough it would be, it would be something that I would find to be the most rewarding. I'd also have to get a actual job because being a chef doesn't pay much and I would want us to be able to live comfortably. When it comes to actual jobs, I don't know what to do anymore. My boyfriend has asked what would be the point of me going to college if I want to be a mommy and he has a point, it wouldn't really make a lot of sense for me to go to school, get in a lot of debt and it would probably hinder us being able to start family. I know I'm kinda young to be asking, but I like planning and being sure of things. I know some people are going to ask how I even know this relationship will last so I'll just answer that now: Yes there is a chance, I won't be with this person, when I'm eighteen or so, but who knows, I could be and I'll need to start apply for colleges sometime (if I chose to go) and I'll still have the same problem even if i'm not in the same relationship, either way it would be unrealistic for me to expect to just be a stay at home mom. So what should I do in addition to being a mother? Maybe I could work from home, but I don't know how to get started in that kind of thing. well first of all, I would recommend not patronizing the people you're asking help from. It looks to me that you're afraid of people thinking you're stupid or you're out to prove that you're intelligent. I'm not insulting you, I'm just saying that it's pretty obvious you're being very intentional about your words. That defensiveness is going to be a natural barrier on your road to recovering, even though it's something that is probably deeply ingrained in you at this point. Also, it's obviously not black people (a term which is considered relatively pc btw) who are the problem, it's people who are being jerks. I know you might be thinking that there are obvious behavioral trends among certain races (which there are) but those trends are likely more attributed to sociological and cultural factors than genetic ones. So the first thing you should do is try and put all of that racial discrimination out of your mind; you're angry at the world for hurting you, so just be angry at the world (I'm not saying you won't have to deal with your anger towards specific races, but try not to reinforce any hard feelings you have against any specific races right now). Secondly you should be more concerned about dealing with the pain and anger than boosting your confidence. What you want to do right now is heal the wounds, not cover them up with something artificial. Since you obviously know the root of your pain, you really just need to start working through it. Keeping a journal is always good, but you probably need to talk to someone. I recommend a counselor or psychologist. What you need right now is someone who will be non-judgmental, understanding, caring and firm. Anyway, I'm tired so good luck with all that.

speak with your doctor I started on lunesta about 6 months ago and dont regret one single day it really has helped me. before I would only get about 3 hrs of sleep a night due to hearing noises like the ac kick on or a train outside but now I can sleep through my alarm sometimes and to be honest it is great.

Ok, so basically, my PS3 broke and I've had to buy a new one. I tried putting my hard drive into that but it says it needs to be formatted to use it. I also tried it in a few of my friend's PS3s which were the 60gb original just like mine was, that didn't work either and tried it in a laptop and then just took it down to my local computer shop, where I was told there was basically nothing that can be done. OK heres my issue, I was raised a Christian, believed, and did one year of Bible college. But after that year I began to raise questions. I read a tonne of books, and noticed that many christian's if not all have a different view of God and the Christian religion. Especially views on the end times (where a lot of Christians draw the more similar view, ex. rapture) I found that this view never became prevelant until the 1800's and than than popularized by guys like Tim Lahaye ( I cant remember his predecessor). Also what about Muslims, Bhuddist's etc all the other religions that truly believe as much as christians that they can feel thier god and everything that they believe. I mean that discourages me, I hear Christians that sau they hear God and see angels, and Muslims and Jews that say the same(yet all views outside of blieving in one god and totally different).I need some clarity and help, what do you guys think?
